A native of Glastonbury, Conn., Kimberly (Kim) Winter is the daughter of Henry and Jennifer Winter. She graduated from and rowed for Glastonbury High School. Majoring in political science and women’s & gender studies with a minor in studio art, Kim graduated as a four-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and the Bucknell University Dean’s List. Additionally, Kim was named a CRCA Scholar Athlete in 2018.
In her time on the Bucknell women’s rowing team, Kim was a member of two Patriot League Championship teams. As a junior and senior, she raced in the Second Varsity Eight, earning a silver medal and fourth-place finish, respectively. Kim also earned a gold medal at the Dad Vail Regatta in the Third Varsity Eight as a sophomore. Outside of rowing, Kim was the logistics coordinator for the BuckWild Pre-Orientation Program.
