A native of Vineland, N.J., Emma King is the daughter of Curtis and Lori King. She graduated from and rowed for Vineland High School. Majoring in international relations and French & Francophone studies, Emma was a three-year member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and Bucknell University Dean’s List, as well as a CRCA Scholar-Athlete.
In her time on the Bucknell women’s rowing team, Emma earned a bronze medal in the Freshman Eight at the Dad Vail Regatta and as a sophomore, fourth in the Second Varsity Eight at the Patriot League Championship. Outside of rowing, Emma was a member of the Catholic Campus Ministry, Outdoor Education and Leadership, the French and Russian Clubs. In the fall of 2019, she earned a bronze medal in the Third Varsity Eight at the 1969 Cup. Unfortunately, the 2019-2020 campaign was cut short due to COVID-19.
