2020-21: Competed with the Second Varsity Eight at the Patriot League Championships and won a silver medal ... part of a second-place team finish ... also helped the 2V8+ to a dual win over UConn and the V4+ to a dual win over Fordham.
2019-20: Raced at the 1969 Cup in the fall and placed third with the 3V8+.
2018-19: Part of the Frosh 8+ that placed third at the Cooper Invitational, fourth at the Dad Vail Regatta, and fifth at the Cherry Hill Invitational ... also took sixth in the V4+ (A) at the Knecht Cup.
Personal: Born Oct. 29, 1999 in Boston … parents are Kathleen and Paul Romano … Paul is a 1982 Bucknell graduate … has older brothers, John and Joseph … John is on the rowing team at Holy Cross … in addition to rowing, participated in cheerleading and gymnastics at Andover High School … Essex winter and spring rowing captain … fourth place in the 4x at the Independence Day Regatta … first place at 2014 Cheerleading Nationals … spent several childhood years living in Singapore … majoring in political science ... member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
