A native of Convent Station, N.J., Rachel Martinez is the daughter of Rick and Kathy Martinez. She graduated from Morristown High School and rowed for Mountain Lakes Crew Club. Majoring in biology with a minor in philosophy, Rachel graduated as a member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and the Bucknell University Dean’s List.
In her time on the Bucknell women’s rowing team, Rachel competed three times at the Dad Vail Regatta. As a freshman, she won a gold medal in the Third Varsity Eight. As a junior, she competed in the Second Varsity Four, and as a senior, she finished sixth in Third Varsity Eight.
