• For the fifth week in a row, the Bison received votes in the USILA Coaches' Poll.
• Bucknell is currently 6-2 (0-2 PL) following its 12-11 victory over Penn State on March 15 and its 13-9 loss at then No. -/20 Loyola on March 19.
• The 2022 team was the fourth to start a season 5-0, joining the 1970, 1996 and 2007 squads. The Bison won their first five games in 2022 and 2007, their first seven tilts in 1970 and all 12 of their contests in 1996.
• At the NCAA Division I level, Bucknell ranks 16th in scoring margin (3.25) and 17th in scoring offense (14.12). The Bison are also third in ground balls per game (37.25), ninth in assists per game (8.62), 11th in points per game (22.75) and 12th in caused turnovers per game (9.88).
• Attackman Connor Davis was added to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List on March 10. Currently, he is the lone freshman be recognized as a contender for this prestigious award, which honors the top college lacrosse player in the United States.
• During the abbreviated 2021 season, Bucknell posted a 2-6 (1-5 PL) record, missing the Patriot League Tournament for only the third time since 2005.
• In 2020, the Bison went 5-1 (0-0 PL). The week their season was canceled due to the COVID-19 public health threat, they were ranked 20th in the USILA Coaches' Poll.
• In 2019, Bucknell logged a 6-9 (4-4 PL) record. The Bison closed the regular season on a four-game winning streak and earned their 13th Patriot League Tournament berth in 15 seasons.
• Bucknell was selected to finish seventh in the 2022 Patriot League preseason poll. Midfielder Harry Wellford represented the Bison on the Preseason All-Patriot League Team for the second-straight season.
• Bucknell returned defenseman Travis Talarico, a 2020 Inside Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American.
• The Bison lost two-time All-Patriot League defenseman Bryant Boswell to graduation following the 2021 campaign.

• Bucknell outlasted Penn State, 12-11, on March 15 in the first contest between the Pennsylvania programs since 2013.
• The Bison held off a late flurry by the Nittany Lions to emerge victorious. It was a fast, physical game that saw Bucknell open up an 11-7 lead behind a 5-1 run that proved decisive despite Penn State closing the tilt on a 4-1 run of its own.
• The Bison defense had a strong showing, holding the Nittany Lions without a goal for a 14:55 stretch that spanned from the third quarter's 11:42 mark to the final frame's 11:47 mark. Drew Wellington had a big game with seven ground balls and two caused turnovers while Frankie Higgins filled the stat sheet with two points (1g-1a), four ground balls and a caused turnover.
• In addition to deflecting a pass in the final seconds to keep Penn State from getting one last look on net, Reid Delanois posted a game-high three caused turnovers.
• Rich O'Halloran, who took over in net early in the game, earned his first collegiate victory. The freshman stopped 10 shots, many from point-blank range.
• Nick Crovatto went 11-for-23 in the faceoff x and paced all players with nine ground balls; with his 11 faceoff wins, he surpassed 250 in his collegiate career.
