Men's Lacrosse Places 43 on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell men's lacrosse team returned to the postseason during a strong 2026 campaign, and the squad continued to get it done in the classroom as well. The team combined for a sensational 3.64 grade-point average, and on Wednesday it was announced that 43 of the 47 members of the roster, or 91.5 percent, were named to the Patriot League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have earned a minimum 3.20 GPA in the spring semester while participating in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports. Bucknell recorded a league-high 569 student-athletes out of a total of 3,900 honorees. The next-highest total was Lafayette's 472. Across all 27 varsity sports, Bison student-athletes averaged a 3.52 GPA in the 2026 spring semester.

Of the men's lacrosse team's 43 Honor Roll members, 32 also made the Bucknell Dean's List with a GPA of 3.50 or better, and eight earned perfect 4.0s: Henry Boykin, Luke Brunner, Louie Germain, Hans Huber, Corbin Lukanski, Mac McGahren, Troy Monte, and Jack Morvillo. Huber and John Young were both named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, and Owen Kovacs earned a spot on the Academic All-Patriot League Team.
