A native of New Canaan, Conn., Lauren Bell is the daughter of Sean and Katherine Bell. She graduated from New Canaan High School and rowed for Maritime Rowing Club. Majoring in economics and Spanish with a minor in geography, Lauren graduated as a two-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
In her time on the Bucknell women’s rowing team, Lauren was a member of four Patriot League Championship boats. Lauren competed in the Varsity Eight during her freshman, sophomore, and junior years, earning fourth, sixth, and a bronze medal, respectively. As a senior, she earned a silver medal in the Varsity Four. Outside of rowing, Lauren was a member of the Bucknell Athletics Leadership Institute.
