Bison Eight Turns in Strong Performance at Head of the Charles

RESULTS
BOSTON, Mass. – Bucknell's Varsity Eight had a strong season debut at the famed Head of the Charles regatta on Saturday. The Bison finished 17th in a field of 43 boats in the Women's Club Eights category, which was made up of a combination of collegiate and club crews.
Bucknell's entry was coxed by Katie Lash and stroked by Sadye Levensten. Bella Guzman, Evelyn Sherman, Logan Moore, Kalena Gatesman, Caroline Cawley, Clara Eikeboom, and Colby Bernhard rounded out the crew.
The Bison finished in 17:03.572. Yale took first in 16:14.664, with Dartmouth, Radcliffe, Massachusetts, and San Diego finishing out the top five.
This was the first of two fall competitions for the Bucknell women. They will have multiple boats on the water at the Princeton Chase on Lake Carnegie on Sunday, Nov. 2.
