Women's Rowing to Enter 11 Boats in Sunday's Princeton Chase
MEET INFORMATION & RESULTS
LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell rowing team is set for a busy Sunday at the Princeton Chase on Lake Carnegie, with 11 boats entered in the event. While some Bison rowers will compete in multiple events, this will be the team's first full-squad regatta under new head coach Katy Ruderman.
Two weeks ago, Bucknell's Varsity Eight performed very well at the famed Head of the Charles in Boston. The Bison finished 17th in a field of more than 40 boats, which was plenty good enough to earn an invitation into next year's field.
Princeton's 3-Mile Chase will give the team a chance to race in boats ranging from singles all the way up to eights. Bucknell will enter three eights, five quads, two pairs and a single.
