Play began with Navy's Alyssa Chung getting a behind the back goal. Boyce was able to answer with a free-position goal to tie the game at one, which would prove to be the closest the game would get. For the rest of the quarter, Navy out-scored Bucknell six to one. The remainder of the game continued in that fashion with Bucknell struggling to find the back of the net while Navy out-scored them 9-4 after the first.
Lehigh at a Glance
- The Mountain Hawks are on a two-game losing streak and 0-2 in Patriot League play with losses to American and Army.
- In its last contest, Lehigh fell to Army 19-8 at home. Allison Reilly led the Black Knights with eight points off seven goals and one assist. Geneva Milch Cesoni added four goals. Army won the draw control battle 19-12 with Sarah Chernik leading the way with 10.
- Army took a 7-1 lead at the end of the first quarter, with Molly Snow netting the lone goal off an assist from Kacie Wines for the Mountain Hawks. Lehigh opened the second quarter with two goals, featuring one from Snow and a player-up goal from Gracie Shoup as Army led 7-3 with 10:48 left in the half. Reilly gave Army a 16-7 lead early in the fourth quarter, before Martel inched Lehigh back to 16-8. Army closed out the game with three goals, securing a 19-8 league win.
