Bucknell at a Glance
• The Bison are currently 0-3 (0-0 Patriot League) after being toppled at UAlbany, 18-9, on Feb. 23 despite a team season-high five points (3g-2a) by Eve Calabria. Their game at Saint Francis was canceled due to weather.
• In 2018, Bucknell went 3-13 (1-8 Patriot League). The Bison, who placed ninth in the Patriot League a year ago, were picked to finish in the same spot in 2019, as voted on by the league's coaches and sports information directors in the preseason poll.
• Bucknell qualified for back-to-back Patriot League Tournaments for the second time in program history in 2016 and 2017. The Bison were young and inexperienced a year ago, having lost three of their top five point producers and their two All-Patriot League honorees from 2017. Half of their Patriot League losses in 2018 came by three goals or fewer.
• Bucknell's captains are Callie DeWitt, Jamisen DeWitt, Sarah Dohler and Audrey Walsh. All four are first-time captains and will lead a young team featuring 21 underclassmen.
• J. DeWitt was recognized on the 2019 Preseason All-Patriot League Team. A 2018 All-Patriot League Second Team honoree, she led the Patriot League and finished ninth nationally in saves per game (10.75) that season.
• The Bison return their top four leading scorers from a year ago in Eve Calabria (19g-14a), Morgan Steinhacker (18g), Walsh (14g-3a) and Lillie Hunt (8g-8a).
• Walsh, who battled injuries throughout the 2018 campaign, previously led the team in scoring as a sophomore in 2017. That year, she racked up 46 points (26g-20a).
• Remington Steele is his second year at the helm of the Bucknell women's lacrosse team.

Howard at a Glance
• Howard is set to open its 2019 campaign at Bucknell.
• A year ago, Howard finished 1-12 (0-5 Atlantic Sun). With their 17-7 victory over the University of District Columbia on March 8, the Bison halted a 42-game losing skid that dated back to April 2014.
• Wednesday's game will be the seventh battle between the Bucknell and Howard Bison. Bucknell emerged victorious in the previous six meetings, outscoring Howard by a combined margin of 126-45.
• Bucknell reached the 20-goal plateau in each of the past five contests. In all six of their tilts, Bucknell held Howard to single-digit goal totals.

• The Colonials are currently 2-0 (0-0 NEC) with victories over first-year program Kent State (11-6) and Canisius (11-10 OT). They will host Liberty on Wednesday, Feb. 27 before traveling to Lewisburg to take on the Bison.
• Robert Morris is celebrating its 15th season of women's lacrosse.
• In the NEC preseason poll, Robert Morris was picked to finish fourth. The Colonials return two All-NEC First Team honorees in Kelly Colegrove and Shannon Lynch as well as goalie Katelyn Miller, who set a school record in goals against average (9.58) last year.
• The Colonials, who have reached the NEC Tournament each of the past five seasons, went 9-9 (5-2 NEC) in 2018. The third seed in that campaign's NEC Tournament, they were bounced in the semifinals by Wagner, 13-9.
• Robert Morris returns 12 players who played in all 18 games last season, with only three players lost to graduation.
• Bucknell leads Robert Morris, 4-3, in an all-time series dating back to 2007.
• In 2018, the Bison and Colonials squared off in the season opener for both teams for the second year in a row. Jamie DeWitt made four of her 11 saves on overtime free-position shots, setting up Mary Margaret Kenney to win it on an 8-meter attempt of her own to give Bucknell a 5-4 double-overtime win over Robert Morris.
