A native of Winnetka, Ill., Charlotte Brace is the daughter of Jake and Judy Brace. She attended and rowed for The Lawrenceville School. After a year at Colorado College, Charlotte found a new home here at Bucknell and joined the rowing team. Majoring in computer science & engineering, Charlotte graduated as a three-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and the Bucknell University Dean’s List. Additionally, Charlotte was named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team in 2016 and a CRCA National Scholar athlete in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
In her time on the Bucknell women’s rowing team, Charlotte was a member of one IRA Lightweight National Championship boat and two Patriot League Championship boats. As a sophomore, she earned a bronze medal in the Lightweight Eight at the IRAs. As a junior and senior, Charotte earned silver and gold respectively in the Second Varsity Eight at the Patriot League Championship. Charlotte also earned a silver medal in the Lightweight Eight and Second Varsity Eight at the Dad Vail Regatta her sophomore and junior year. Outside of rowing, Charlotte was a member of the sorority Kappa Alpha Theta and was a computer science teaching assistant.
