A native of Margate, N.J., Amanda McCabe is the daughter of Laura and Larry McCabe. She graduated from and rowed for Atlantic City High School. Majoring in neuroscience, Amanda graduated as a two-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and the Bucknell University Dean’s List. Additionally, McCabe received All-Patriot League Team honors in 2014 and was named a CRCA National Scholar Athlete in 2016.
In her time on the Bucknell women’s rowing team, Amanda was a member of four Patriot League Championship boats, racing in the Varsity Eight each season. She earned three Patriot League silver medals during her freshman, sophomore, and junior seasons. McCabe also earned a bronze and silver medal at the Dad Vail Regatta during her freshman and junior season, respectively.
