Women's Lax Looks to Take Momentum to the Road in Saturday Game at Lehigh

LEWISBURG, Pa. — Bucknell women's lacrosse is heading on the road for Patriot League game against Lehigh on Saturday, March 28. The contest is set for noon at the Ulrich Sports Complex.
The Bison currently sit 5-4 overall and 1-2 in the Patriot League after defeating Colgate in a narrow two-goal game at home on Wednesday. Lehigh is entering the game 5-6 overall and 0-4 in the Patriot League off of an 11-6 loss to Navy.
Lehigh leads the series with Bucknell 36-12 since the two teams first met in 1978. The Bison however are on a one game winning streak after defeating the Mountain Hawks last season 12-6 at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium.

- The Bison also welcomed 12 freshmen this season, the largest class amongst the team.
- Bucknell returned 26 players from the 2025 roster including 2025 All-Patriot League Second Team players Megan Krestinski and Jess Leon.
- Bucknell lost top offensive powerhouses Allie Boyce and Taylor McClain to graduation.
- In 2025, Bucknell went 6-10 overall and 2-7 in Patriot League play with its two conference wins coming against American and Lehigh.
Bucknell's Last Time Out
- Bucknell earned its first Patriot League win of the season against Colgate 12-10 in Lewisburg on Wednesday evening. After Colgate tied the game at 10 in the fourth quarter, Megan Krestinski notched the game-winning goal with 6:15 left to go before Caleigh Cummiskey made it a two-goal lead. Anna Cornell also came up with a caused turnover with under a minute to go to officially secure the win.
- Krestinski led the Bison with five points on a team-high four goals and one assist. The senior got her 100th goal and 150th point in the conference win.
- Caleigh Cummiskey was the other Bison to score multiple goals with two. Caroline Sheridan led the team in assists with two of their four.
- Colgate had a secure hold on the draw as it had 16 draw controls to Bucknell's eight, but the Bison made up for the deficit with caused turnovers, ground balls and saves. Bucknell had 11 caused turnovers to Colgate's weight with Anna Cornell leading the charge with three. Bucknell had 26 ground balls to Colgate's 12.
- Colgate also recorded more turnovers than Bucknell to aid in helping the draw control deficit. The Raiders had 18 turnovers to the Bison's 13.
- Bella Crowley notched seven saves on the evening for the Bison, with most of the saves coming in big moments.
Lehigh at a Glance
- The Mountain Hawks enter the game 5-6 overall and 0-4 in the Patriot League after falling to Navy in a close 11-6 contest.
- In addition to losing to Navy, Lehigh has fallen to three other conference teams including American, Holy Cross and Loyola.
- In its loss to Navy, Lehigh's DeNicola's two goals were the most for any Mountain Hawk. She was also one of four Lehigh players who tallied an assist, joined by Shoup, Karina Van der Walt, and Kacie Wines. Wines and Camilla Madonna were Lehigh's leaders in ground balls with three, a season high for both of them. Morgan Lesiewicz had three draw controls, the most for her team. Micaela Jennings played the entire game in net, recording 16 saves, tying her career high that she set last week.
- Molly Snow leads the Mountain Hawks in scoring with 27 goals.
- Snow also leads the team in caused turnovers with 12.
- Kacie Wines leads Lehigh in assists with 30.
- Wines also leads the team in total points with 45.
- Brynn Freeman leads the Mountain Hawks in ground balls with 22.
- Morgan Lesiewicz leads the team in draw controls with 38.
The Bucknell / Lehigh Series
- This will be the 49th meeting between Bucknell and Lehigh in program history.
- In the first meeting between the two teams in 1978, the Mountain Hawks defeated the Bison 10-3.
- Lehigh leads the series 36-12.
- Bucknell is currently on a one-game winning streak after defeating Lehigh 12-6 last season at Christy.
