Women’s Lacrosse Travels For Mid-Week Game Against Rider

LEWISBURG, Pa. — Bucknell women's lacrosse is gearing up for a road contest against Rider on Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 3 p.m.
The Bison are 3-1 overall after defeating St. Bonaventure at home in a tight one-goal game. The Broncs enter the contest 1-3 overall after dropping to a three-game losing streak with its most recent loss coming at the hands of Jacksonville.

- Krestinski also leads the team in total points with 25. She ranks 13th nationally in total goals and 17th in goals per game. The senior also ranks 6th in total points with 25 and 8th in points per game with 6.25.
- Catherine Dineen leads the team in ground balls with 11.
- Jess Leon leads the Bison in caused turnovers with eight.
- Bella Crowley is the Bison's goalie this season. The junior has a .400 save percentage with 26 saves and 39 goals against. She ranks 49th nationally in saves.
- Bucknell ranks 6th nationally in shot percentage (.560), 14th in assists per game (7.25), 48th nationally in caused turnovers per game (8.75), 23rd in clearing percentage (.931), free-position percentage (.556), 26th in ground balls per game (17.50), 13th in points per game (22.50), 36th in spring margin (2.75), 13th in scoring offense (15.25), 37th in shots on goal per game (21.75) and 22nd in win percentage (.750).
- Jess Leon was named to the 2026 Preseason All-Patriot League Team after a strong 2025 campaign.

Bucknell's Last Time Out
- Freshman Caleigh Cummiskey recorded five goals and two assists, including what proved to be the game-winning goal with 2:56 to go as the Bucknell women's lacrosse team held off St. Bonaventure 14-13 on Saturday at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium. The Bison improved to 3-1 on the season, with the only loss coming at Penn State last Sunday.
- Caroline Sheridan had a five-point day with three goals and two assists, and Megan Krestinski also notched a hat trick with an assist to help offset a five-goal game from St. Bonaventure's standout midfielder Brooke Piper.
- St. Bonaventure finished with a 25-24 shot advantage, while the Bison led 14-12 in ground balls. Draw controls were 20-8 for the Bonnies, although the Bison helped nullify that advantage by forcing 16 turnovers.
- Bella Crowley made six saves in goal for Bucknell, while Meredith Kearns had five in relief for St. Bonaventure after starter Judy Mahoney was pulled after conceding six goals on Bucknell's first seven shots.
- Cummiskey entered the game ranked in the top-10 nationally in goals, and she now has 17 in four games to start her career. Krestinski also ranks among the nation's top point-producers, and she now has 15 goals and 10 assists on the season.
Rider at a Glance
- Rider enters the game 1-3 after dropping its game against Jacksonville 17-4.
- The Broncs are currently on a three-game losing streak with losses to Rhode Island, Temple and Jacksonville. They won their season-opener over FDU 12-8.
- Hannah Kozik leads the team in scoring with eight goals. Kayleigh Colleary and Maggie Hance are close behind with seven each.

The Bucknell / Rider Series
- This will be the second meeting between Bucknell and Rider women's lacrosse in program history.

- The lone time these two teams met was last season, where the Bison squeaked out a 9-8 victory.
