LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Bucknell women's basketball team is on the road for its second game of the season at the University of Virginia on Sunday, Nov. 9 at 2 p.m. The Bison and the Cavaliers have met twice, with their first meeting coming in 1989. Virginia holds a 2-0 overall record over Bucknell and in their last contest, the Cavaliers defeated the Bison 84-60 in Charlottesville.

- In the game, the Cavalier offense was led by junior guard Kymora Johnson (24 pts, 6 reb, 5 ast) and senior guard Paris Clark (18 pts, 8 reb, 2 ast). Romi Levy put on a strong Cavalier debut filling up the stat sheet with a team-leading 11 rebounds as well as eight points, four assists and two steals. Levy's eight points were exactly enough to reach 1,000 for her career.
- The Cavaliers are currently tied for second in the NCAA in blocks after a 12-block performance against Morgan State.

Bucknell's Last Time Out
- The Bucknell women's basketball team (0-1) fell to the Penn State Lady Lions (1-0) on Monday night in its season-opening game, 83-55.
- The Bison opened the night with a lot of power and took a 20-17 lead towards the end of the first quarter, but an 11-point run in the second gave Penn State a lead that the Bison were unable to come back from, despite closing the gap a couple of times.
- Reese Zemitis led Bucknell with 14 points on 8-of-19 shooting with three three-pointers on the night.
- Isabella Casey was the other Bison to notch double digits as she recorded 12 points on a 7-of-8 shooting performance. Casey hit two threes and five field goals.
- Tuana Coskun was just one-point away from her first double-double of the season as she led Bucknell in rebounds with 14 and notched nine points in the game.
- The Lady Lions were led by two 20+ point scorers in Kiyomi McMiller (27 pts.) and Gracie Merkle (24 pts.). Merkle proved to be a problem on the inside for the Bison at 6'6", as she went 11-of-13 from the field.
