Bucknell's Last Time Out
- Elana Weisman scored a career-high 17 points, but Youngstown State held off a late Bucknell charge and defeated the Bison 60-53 on Sunday afternoon at Zidian Family Arena. Anna Kunzwiler tallied nine points and matched her career high with seven rebounds for the Bison, who fell to 1-3 on the season with all three setbacks coming on the road.
- Erica King led a balanced scoring attack with 14 points for the Penguins, who are now 3-1 on the campaign. Youngstown State's 42-29 rebounding advantage was a big factor in the decision. They grabbed 17 offensive rebounds, which led to 13 second-chance points.
- Bucknell shot 39.6 percent for the game, a figure that was boosted by 7-for-13 shooting in the fourth quarter. The Bison were 5-for-19 from 3-point range and 10-for-13 from the foul line. Tuana Coskun finished with seven points, and Isabella Casey and Zemitis had six each.
- The Bison trimmed a 17-point deficit down to just six after an 11-0 run in a span of just 2:22. Kunzwiler was the catalyst in the surge. She scored twice in the lane and then assisted on Weisman's 3-pointer. Kunzwiler's defensive rebound led to a Weisman turnaround jumper, and Reese Zemitis capped the run with a put-back, but it wouldn't be enough to overcome the deficit.
