Â
Ruderman takes over a squad that features 25 returning rowers, including a large class of 12 seniors. Seniors Morgan Brill and Bella Guzman, along with junior Kalena Gatesman and sophomore Callie VonderHaar, comprise the team's Leadership Council. Nine newcomers are also in the mix, including Caroline Cawley, who will row with the Varsity Eight in Boston on Saturday.

Bucknell's entry at the Head of the Charles will race in the Women's Club Eights category, which is slated to go off at 1:44 p.m. on Saturday. A total of 43 boats, featuring a mix of collegiate and club eights, will compete in that section, including Patriot League rivals Boston University, Colgate, Georgetown, Holy Cross, and MIT.

Also competing for Bucknell will be Guzman (7), sophomore Evelyn Sherman (6), senior Logan Moore (5), Gatesman (4), Cawley (3), junior Clara Eikeboom (2), and senior Colby Bernhard (bow).
