LEWISBURG, Pa - Women's water polo concluded its weekend of play with one last match against No.15 Princeton. Unfortunately, Bucknell came up short, ending its season 12-5.

The Bison were focused and ready to compete on Sunday afternoon as the teams took to the pool.
Bucknell wasted no time in taking the lead, as sophomore Bella Schraa unleashed a powerful shot to score first. Princeton quickly responded with a goal from junior Rachel Carver.Despite their offensive efforts, the Bison managed only two successful shots on goal in the third quarter. Senior Isabelle Monaghan made her mark with a goal at 2:58 on the clock, followed by another goal just before the end of the quarter, bringing the Bison's total to four points.
Princeton seized control with a 7-4 run, creating a gap between the two teams. With 1:15 remaining in the third quarter, junior Kayla Yelenski scored Princeton's 11th point.

In the fourth quarter, Bucknell emerged with determination to narrow the gap between the two teams. The offense engaged in a hard-fought battle to secure the Bison's fifth goal. Led by freshman Tamara Torkos, the Bison defense demonstrated resilience, successfully containing Princeton for the majority of the quarter. Princeton was kept from scoring until the five-minute mark, with the Bison defense limiting them to just two goals in the final quarter.
