19 Bison Land on the ACWPC All-Academic Teams

LEWISBURG, Pa.- Bucknell women's water polo has long made a splash in the academic pool and the 2026 team continued that proud tradition by landing 19 players on the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-Academic Teams. The Bison's 19 honorees represented 79% of the roster, and the team posted a cumulative 3.42 GPA.

The 2026 women's water polo team finished 14-11 and placed fifth at the CWPA Championships.
ACWPC List
The ACWPC recognizes student-athletes in three categories: Excellent (3.20-3.40 GPA), Superior (3.41-3.70 GPA), and Outstanding (3.71-4.00 GPA).
The six Bison recognized in the Outstanding category were Britta Coultas, Ashley Hopper, Olivia Hopper, Bella Schraa, Kenzi Shaw, and Brooke Temkin.
The 11 Bison recognized in the Superior category were Ava Bayne, Caroline Brown, Malli Challa, Campbell Collins, Olivia Garcia, Iris Hiskey, Gwen Kallmeyer, Lin Naraoka, Anna Plante, Rosemary Schmidt, and Addison Wedding.
Hayden Hedstrom and Caitlin Stott earned Excellent honors.
Olivia Hopper also made the College Sports Communicators (CSC)Â At-Large Academic All-District Team.ÂThe 2026 women's water polo team finished 14-11 and placed fifth at the CWPA Championships.
