• Bucknell faces its final non-league opponent of the season when Le Moyne visits Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium Friday evening. The Bison and the Dolphins square off for the first time since Le Moyne's transition to the Division I level. Bucknell is looking to bounce back from a narrow loss at Loyola last weekend.
• Bucknell is 3-2 in home games this season, and a win on Friday would ensure a winning record at Christy for the third time in the last five years. Bucknell already has home wins over Dartmouth, Holy Cross and Lafayette this spring.
• A 9-0 run in the first half allowed the Bison to jump out to a 10-6 advantage at halftime against Loyola last Saturday, but Bucknell was limited to just one goal over the first 21 minutes of the second half and was outscored 9-3 over the last two quarters to fall 15-13 to the hosting Greyhounds. The loss dropped the Bison to 2-4 in Patriot League play.
• The Bison currently sit in seventh place in the Patriot League standings with two league games remaining on the schedule. Lehigh, Loyola and Army sit just above Bucknell with 3-2 records, and the Mountain Hawks and Greyhounds hold the tiebreakers. Bucknell will see Army and Navy in its last two games of the season.
• Michael Meyer scored a season-high five goals in last Saturday's game and was an honorable mention for Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week. Brendan Coyle was an honorable mention for PL Faceoff Specialist of the Week after winning 19 of 30 draws (.633) and scooping 12 ground balls.
• Connor Davis achieved his sixth hat trick of the season last game and has scored 10 times in the last two outings. He ranks second in the league with his 31 tallies and 18th nationally with 2.82 goals per game. Davis scored his 100th career during the second quarter of Saturday's game, becoming the seventh player in program history to reach that mark. He's two goals shy of moving to fifth all-time.
• Freshman Henry Boykin posted his second consecutive three-point game last Saturday. It was the ninth time a Bucknell rookie has registered three or more points in a game this season. Freshmen Hans Huber and Peter Grandolfo have combined to win three Patriot League Rookie of the Week awards, and the Bison have collected 17 of the 36 PL Rookie of the Week awards handed out since the start of the 2022 season.
• As a team, Bucknell currently ranks sixth in the nation in caused turnovers per game (10.09) and ninth in opponent clearing percentage (.811).
• Bucknell is coming off a 3-10 (2-6 PL) season in 2023. Seven of the team's losses were by three goals or less, and three of its league losses were by two or fewer. Bucknell returned two of its four All-Patriot League honorees from last season.Â
• Bucknell was picked to finish seventh in the 2024 Patriot League Preseason Poll. Bucknell's roster consists of 27 returners and 13 newcomers. It graduated 2023 All-Patriot League defensemen Hank Bethel and Andrew Stanzel.
• Dutch Furlong, Davis, Ethan Gyllenhaal and Richie Striano were voted team captains ahead of the 2024 season.
• Bucknell head coach Frank Fedorjaka is in his 19th season leading the program. He owns achieved his 150th career win two weeks ago and is just the second head coach in the program's 57-year history.

Scouting Le Moyne/Series History
  • Le Moyne dropped its third game in a row to move to 2-6 on the season last Tuesday when it traveled to No. 10/11 Yale. The Dolphins have posted wins over Mercer and Wagner this spring.
• Le Moyne is in its first season at the Division I level after posting a storied run of success in Division II between 2004 and 2021. The Dolphins captured six NCAA Division II Championships and won 16 NE10 titles.
• Le Moyne returned 34 letterwinners from the 2022-23 season, which saw the team go 17-1 and reach the NCAA Division II semifinals for the 17th time in the last 21 full seasons.
• The Dolphins are averaging 9.4 goals per game and allowing 12.9 per game. Redshirt junior Ethan Loun leads the team in points (21) and goals (16).
• Redshirt freshman goalie Carter Ruhm has started all eight games and owns a .503 save percentage, stopping 11.3 shots per game.
• Friday will be the first-ever meeting between the Bison and the Dolphins. Le Moyne concludes the season with three consecutive games against Patriot League teams.

• Bucknell hosts Army on Friday, April 19 for its final home game of the season. The Bison will celebrate Senior Day prior to the 7:30 p.m. start.
