"The Gulden Invitational honors Art Gulden, head coach from 1969 to 2021. It is the first scored meet of the year, and we have some solid teams coming in who have a nice balance across all their event groups. When points are at stake, I have found athletes dig a little deeper for them. It is also great preparation for the Patriot League Championships in five weeks. It should be a fun meet to watch."
Last Time Out (Nittany Lion Challenge)
Bucknell hosts the Bison Open & Multi and competes at the National Open at Penn State on Jan. 26 and 27.Â

Last Time Out (Nittany Lion Challenge)
- Lila Gaughan starred in the long jump. The senior jumper leaped for a mark of 19-0 ½ to take home gold. The feat would rank fourth in Bucknell history if Gaughan had not already slotted second. The accomplishment earned Gaughan Bison of the Week honors on Jan. 15.Â
- Anna Posh won silver in the 800-meter run with her time of 2:17.21. Hailey Tabar took home fifth place (2:19.08).
- Bucknell continued its excellent portrayal in the high jump. Karen Hull obtained bronze with her jump of 5-7 ¼, and Abby Kates grabbed sixth (5-6).
- Justley Sharp improved upon her sixth ranking for shot put in Bucknell history. The freshman tossed the sphere at 46-8 ¼ to gain seventh place. Fellow freshman Prizila Negrete earned tenth (39-8).
