EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. – It was a long afternoon for the Bucknell baseball team on Saturday, as the Bison dropped a pair of games at World War Memorial Stadium. The Bison fell to Western Michigan 15-5 in a neutral-site game to start the day, and then host North Carolina A&T prevailed 16-2.
Bucknell fell to 2-7 on the season heading into a single game against Western Michigan on Sunday. First pitch is scheduled for noon.

The Bison got out to a promising start against the Broncos, as an RBI single by Grant Voytovich and a 3-run home run by Sean Keys sent them to a quick 4-0 lead. But Western Michigan quickly responded against Will Greer. After two hit batsmen, a walk, and a wild pitch, Cade Sullivan launched a 3-run shot of his own to tie the game. The Broncos added two more runs in the inning to take a 6-4 lead after one.
Gavin Doyle and Greg Budig added 2-run homers in the fifth and sixth to run Western Michigan's lead up to 13-4. Bucknell added one more in the seventh on an RBI single by Jacob Corson.
Corson went 2-for-3 for the Bison, who were held to six hits in the game. Doyle went 4-for-5 for the Broncos.

After defeating Western Michigan 8-7 on Friday, the Aggies pounded out 16 hits and scored in seven of their eight at-bats to win their second game of the weekend and improve to 5-5 on the season.

Canyon Brown and Shemar Dalton drove in runs in the bottom of the first to get the Aggies going. They added one more in the third and three in both the fourth and fifth to take a commanding 9-0 lead. Brown, Michael Logan, Chris Moss, and Luis Espinal all homered for North Carolina A&T. Dalton finished with four hits, while Brown went 3-for-6 with five runs scored.
