LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell women's track & field team put up big performances at both the Penn Relays and the Maroon & Gold Invite on Friday, and the Bison set a new school record in the distance medley relay. Bucknell earned nine wins at the Bloomsburg meet and posted several other all-time top 10 performances.
"Overall, I was very pleased with all the results at the Penn Relays. Bracken ran a solid 400 hurdle on Thursday, breaking a school record in the DMR is very exciting, and our 4x400 ran a season-best time," said head coach Kevin Donner. "O'Sullivan is developing some consistency in the shot put. Bloomsburg went very well, as many of our women won their events and/or had season-best marks. The highlight was Macones in the 200, where she ran the fourth-fastest time in school history, and it's the first time she has ever run it for us. It looks like many of our athletes handled the windy conditions very well."
The distance medley relay team (Mackenzie Turner, Mikayla Horvath, Karly Forker, Ashlyn Ramos) ran an 11:36.32 to place fifth at the Penn Relays and broke the previous record of 11:38.54, which was set back in 2017.

Bucknell put up a strong showing in the pole vault at Bloomsburg, as Jennifer Scott tied Karly Renn's fifth spot on the all-time top 10 list with a 12-1.5, and Renn placed second with an 11-7.75.
