• For the 10th week in a row, the Bison received votes in the USILA Coaches' Poll.
• Bucknell is currently 9-4 (3-4 PL) following its 19-16 Senior Night victory over Lafayette on April 22.
• With their April 22 win over the Leopards, and Colgate's overtime loss to Loyola (Md.) on April 23, the Bison clinched a spot in the 2022 Patriot League Tournament. Bucknell can finish as either the fifth or sixth seed.
• The Bison have three 50-point scorers on their roster: sophomore attackman Dutch Furlong (53 on 35g-18a), freshman attackman Connor Davis (50 on 43g-7a) and senior attackman Alston Tarry (50 on 31g-19a). Bucknell is one of three NCAA Division I teams with three players who have surpassed 50 points, joining Michigan and Jacksonville.
• The 2022 team was the fourth to start a season 5-0, joining the 1970, 1996 and 2007 squads. The Bison won their first five games in 2022 and 2007, their first seven tilts in 1970 and all 12 of their contests in 1996.
• At the NCAA Division I level, Bucknell ranks second in caused turnovers per game (10.62), fourth in ground balls per game (37.62), sixth in assists per game (9.08) and ninth in points per game (23.69). The Bison also rank 10th in scoring offense (14.62) and scoring margin (3.92) and 20th in scoring defense (10.69).
• Davis was added to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List on March 10. This prestigious award honors the top college lacrosse player in the United States.
• Davis (No. 4) and goalie Rich O'Halloran (No. 15) were listed in Inside Lacrosse's Top 25 Freshman Impact Rankings.
• During the abbreviated 2021 season, Bucknell posted a 2-6 (1-5 PL) record, missing the Patriot League Tournament for only the third time since 2005.
• In 2020, the Bison went 5-1 (0-0 PL). The week their season was canceled due to the COVID-19 public health threat, they were ranked 20th in the USILA Coaches' Poll.
• In 2019, Bucknell logged a 6-9 (4-4 PL) record. The Bison closed the regular season on a four-game winning streak and earned their 13th Patriot League Tournament berth in 15 seasons.
• Bucknell was selected to finish seventh in the 2022 Patriot League preseason poll. Midfielder Harry Wellford represented the Bison on the Preseason All-Patriot League Team for the second-straight season.
• Bucknell returned defenseman Travis Talarico, a 2020 Inside Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American.

• Bucknell and Lafayette combined for 35 goals, which is tied for the second-highest combined total in the Bison's history behind 36 in a 24-12 loss to then No. 6 Towson in 1990. Bucknell's 16 goals allowed is its second-highest figure given up in a win behind an 18-17 overtime victory over Gettysburg in 1983.
• The Bison led in shots (50-34), shots on goal (30-26), ground balls (40-33) and faceoffs (21-18). Both teams struggled with turnovers, combining for 36. They also combined for only 21 saves on the evening.
