• The Bison are 3-4 (0-0 PL) after topping Campbell, 13-10, on March 7. Tegan Warren (4g) and Eve Calabria (1g-3a) led the attack while Lauren Kinnee made 11 saves.
• In 2019, Bucknell went 4-13 (2-7 PL). The Bison, who placed ninth in the Patriot League a year ago, were picked to finish in the same spot in the 2020 preseason poll.
• Bucknell's captains are Jessie Britton, Sarah Dohler, Sophia Klaber and Kali Peeples. Dohler is in her second season as captain.

• Jackie Dando is in her first season as head coach. She spent the previous seven years at Lebanon Valley College, posting an 82-49 overall record and a 41-14 conference ledger. Lebanon Valley qualified for the MAC Commonwealth Conference in each of her seven seasons as head coach, culminating with the program's first league championship and NCAA Division III tournament berth in 2019.

• Navy was ranked 19th in this week's IWLCA Division I Coaches Poll. The Mids will be the Bison's first ranked opponent of the 2020 campaign.
• Navy will face off against Florida on Tuesday, March 10 before traveling to Bucknell for its Patriot League opener.
• The Mids were chosen to place second in the Patriot League in the preseason poll behind defending champion Loyola. They swept the Patriot League major awards, with attacker Kelly Larkin being tabbed as the Preseason Offensive Player of the Year and Annalise Heyward taking home Preseason Defensive Player of the Year accolades.
• Larkin, a senior, is the first player in Navy and Patriot League history to post three 100-point seasons. She is a three-time Inside Lacrosse All-American and a 2019 IWLCA All-American.
• A year ago, the Mids went 16-5 (8-1 PL). After falling to Loyola in the Patriot League Tournament title game, they received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament; there, they were bounced in the second round by No. 6 Virginia, 15-12.
• In 2018, Navy went 18-4 (8-1 PL), winning its second-straight Patriot League Tournament and advancing to the NCAA quarterfinals. In the NCAA quarterfinals, the Mids gave defending champion Maryland a run for its money, ultimately falling by a slim 17-15 margin.
• In 2017, Navy became the first Patriot League team to advance to the NCAA Women's Lacrosse Final Four. The Mids also won 18 games that season, finishing with an 18-5 record.Â
• Navy has won all 12 of its games against Bucknell. The teams first met in 2008.
• Last season, the Mids rolled to a 17-4 victory over the Bison in Annapolis, Md.
