When: Friday, Sept. 13 & Saturday, Sept. 14
Where: Mount St. Mary's Tennis Courts, Emmitsburg, Md.
Teams: Bucknell, Mercyhurst, Mount St. Mary's, Saint Francis

About the Bison
• Bucknell will compete in the Mount St. Mary's Invitational this weekend, where players will be divided into pairs to compete in one doubles match and two singles matches, with the winning duo moving on. For Bucknell, the pairs will be sophomores Cooper Bradshaw & Ryan Jurist, and freshmen Guillermo Torres & Per Astrom.
• Bucknell began its fall season last weekend by hosting the Bucknell Invitational, as well as an additional match with Fairleigh Dickinson immediately afterwards.
• Bradshaw came out on top in the A singles bracket last weekend. Bradshaw claimed the title after 6-4, 6-0, and 6-2, 6-3 wins over players from Niagara. Bradshaw was 6-7 in singles last season.
• Freshman Michael Owen won his first collegiate contest last weekend in the A singles bracket. Owens defeated his Niagara opponent 7-5, 6-3 before falling 6-4, 6-3 in pursuit of a fifth-place finish.
• Jurist and Torres also won their season-opening games in B singles. Torres wound up the third-place finisher after falling to Saint Francis' Sebastian Pinos.
• Astrom and Chunyu Chen also saw their first collegiate tennis action last weekend.
• All six Bison were victorious in the Fairleigh Dickinson match that followed the Bucknell Invitational. The Bison also won all three doubles contests.

Scouting the Opponents
• Mercyhurt was 18-4 last season and won its third-straight Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference title.
• Mount St. Mary's was 5-18 last season before falling in the Northeast Conference Semifinals. The Mountaineers were participants in last year's Bucknell Invitational, winning the Flight 1 doubles bracket.
• Saint Francis was a participants in the Bucknell Invitational last weekend. The Red Flash won the B doubles bracket with Andrew Teixeira and Pinos playing together.
