Emmitsburg, Md. - Sophomores Cooper Bradshaw and Ryan Jurist advanced to the quarterfinal round of the Mount Invitational Friday afternoon following an impressive first-round showdown with the Mount St. Mary's pairing.
Bradshaw and Jurist claimed a first-round doubles victory over Mount St. Mary's Nick Huynh and Ben Porto. The 6-1 doubles win was followed up with singles victories by both Bison. Jurist defeated Huynh 6-1, 6-0, and Bradshaw handed a 6-0, 6-3 loss to Porto to go 3-0 in the opening round.
Though Bradshaw won his singles matchup in the second round against Mount St. Mary's Parth Sharma, he and Jurist fell in doubles and were ultimately defeated 2-1 in the second round.
