About the Bison
• Bucknell is 25-18 overall and 13-2 in the Patriot League after going 1-2 in a series at Army West Point this past weekend. The Bison lost a league game and a league series for the first time this season.
• The doubleheaders against Saint Francis and Penn State are the final four non-conference games of the season for the Bison. They are 12-16 in a difficult non-league schedule.
• The four games are the final tuneup before a huge three-game Patriot League series against Boston University on May 4-5. The winner of that series will likely be the host team for the conference tournament.
• Freshman Allyse Volpe has a current 13-game hitting streak. She is batting .581 (25-43) during that stretch. Volpe has at least one hit in 28 of the 36 games she has played this season and multiple hits in 13 games.
• Senior Lauren Hadley has a chance to become the program's all-time hits leader, but it will take a strong close to the season. She needs 17 hits to break the current record of 208 held by Cydnee Sanders (2012-15). The Bison have seven regular season games remaining in addition to at least two postseason games.

• Penn State is 22-25 overall and 6-11 in the Big Ten after taking two of three games in a series against Maryland.
• The Lions have more than double their win total from all of last season.
• Penn State has hit 42 home runs, led by Toni Polk and Chelsea Bisi with 11 apiece.

• Penn State leads 30-8 in a series that began in 1986.
• Bucknell swept a doubleheader at Penn State last season, winning 7-6 in 10 innings in game one and 13-1 in five innings in game two.
Scouting Saint Francis
• Saint Francis is 20-26 overall and 7-5 in the NEC after sweeping a home doubleheader against Wagner.
• The Red Flash are the two-time defending champions in the NEC. Current Bucknell assistant coach Ketarah DeVries was on the 2017 title team.
