Softball Continues California Trip with Four Games Tuesday and Wednesday

About the Bison
• Bucknell is 6-10 after playing a tough slate of opponents at Stanford's Cardinal Classic. The Bison dropped two games to UNLV and one each to No. 22 Stanford and UMass Lowell.
• The Bison still have eight games left during their trip to California, starting with four in two days. They will take on Santa Clara and San Jose State in San Jose on Tuesday, and will play a doubleheader at Pacific on Wednesday.
• Anna Gimmestad had at least one hit in all four games at the Cardinal Classic and now has an eight-game hitting streak. That matches Allyse Volpe for the team's longest hitting streak of the season.
• Gimmestad is hitting .480 (12-25) during her hitting streak.
• Jess Hom leads Bucknell in batting average (.344), while Taylor Wolfgang has the highest slugging percentage (.591), and Volpe leads in on-base percentage (.360).

• San Jose State is 11-9 after an 8-0 win over Weber State. Arianna Miranda has an OPS of .984. She is hitting .352 (19-54) with three doubles and three home runs.
• Pacific is 6-12 following a 4-2 win over Fairleigh Dickinson. Hailey Reed has a 2.45 ERA with 54 strikeouts over 40.0 innings.
