LEWISBURG, Pa. - Four different Saint Francis (Pa.) players netted three goals apiece and the Red Flash put together a pair of 6-0 runs to defeat Bucknell, 15-4, in women's lacrosse action Wednesday afternoon at an overcast Graham Field. Katelyn Miller (Reisterstown, Md./McDonogh) netted a pair of goals to lead the Bison offense.
The Red Flash scored the game's first six goals. Bucknell did draw to within 6-3 early in the second half, but another 6-0 run by Saint Francis secured the outcome. The final 11-goal margin was the largest lead of the game for the Red Flash, thanks to a pair of scores by Kara Ledgerwood in the final 90 seconds.

During that stretch Lindsey Ferro (Catonsville, Md./Notre Dame Prep) and Miller scored three straight times. Madison Hurwitz (Holland, Pa./Council Rock) tallied the final Bison goal with 5:55 to play in the second half.
Thanks to her two scores, Miller moved into a tie for first place on the team with 10 goals this year. She is tied with Ali Carey (Clarksville, Md./Garrison Forest) and Julia Braun (Tomkins Cove, N.Y./North Rockland), who did not play.
