LEWISBURG, Pa. - With the remnants of Hurricane Ivan unloading buckets of rain onto the Bucknell University Golf Club, first-round play at the Bucknell Fall Invitational was suspended Friday with most teams completing six holes. The tournament will now be shortened to 18 holes, with play scheduled to resume at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Bucknell, coming off a victory last week at the Colgate Invitational, is looking to defend its 2003 championship it its own annual event.
