RESULTS
GOODYEAR, Ariz. – Jack Hartman posted his second straight under-par finish as the Bucknell men's golf team wrapped up the 54-hole Loyola Intercollegiate with a 297 team score on Tuesday at Palm Valley GC. Hartman shot a 1-under-par 71 on the heels of his second-round 69, and he finished at 2-under 214 for the tournament.
The Bison finished in 19th place with an 18-over total of 882. This event typically yields low scores, and this year was no exception as Richmond took the team crown with a 34-under 830. Host Loyola was three shots back, and Denver (-27), North Carolina State (-24), UT Martin (-22), Idaho (-16), South Dakota (-10) and Northern Colorado (-10) all finished double digits under par.
Hartman finished in a tie for 30th place on the individual leaderboard, as 49 players finished in red numbers. The Bison sophomore posted rounds of 74-69-71, and he was 8-under on the course's front nine for the week.
James Robbins eagled the 14th hole for the second straight day – he was 5-under on that hole for the week – and he shot 75 on Monday to finish at +3 for the tournament. Patrick Pritsios also shot 75, and Hayden Quinn finished with a 76. Freshman Hunter Duncan, playing as an individual, closed with his best round of the tournament with a 2-over 74.
Richmond's Carson Baez was the medalist with a 17-under 199 (68-65-66). Luke Caldwell of UT Martin also finished with a 66 but was four shots off the lead.
