Bucknell Women's Golf Ninth After First Day at Princeton

Princeton, N.J. - Jaime Hays shot a six-over-par 78 to lead the Bison and tie for 10th overall at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday. As a team, the Bison stand in ninth place with a total of 331 shots.
Princeton leads after Saturday's competition with 300 strokes, while Richmond (321), Yale (322), Brown (322), Georgetown (323), Penn (324), Weber State (324), and St. John's (327) round out the group of eight that stands ahead of the Bison.
Individually, Celine Herbin shot Bucknell's second-best round, just one shot back of Hays with a seven-over 79. Stephanie Calhoun (T48th, +13), Teri Schlang (T67, +17), and Meredith Kalman (T67th, +17) round out Bucknell's competitors.
Princeton's Avery Kiser is the individual leader after day one, following an even-par 72. Teammate Sharla Coulter is second with a two-over 74, while three players shot a four-over 76, four shot a five-over 77, and three other players share Hays' score of 78.
The tournament will wrap up on Sunday, starting at 8 a.m.
