Enters 2017 season with 63 goals, 15 assists, 78 points, 163 draw controls, 47 ground balls, 37 caused turnovers ... after just two seasons, ranks second on Bucknell's career draw controls list, just one behind Bonnie Buechel for the school record.
In 2016: Cemented her status as one of the Patriot League's premier midfielders ... earned First Team All-Patriot League and Patriot League All-Academic honors ... named PL Midfielder of the Week three times in a five-week span ... started all 18 games at midfield and had an impact in all areas of the field ... offensively, logged 37 goals and 11 assists for 48 points ... the 37 goals ranked second on the team and ninth in the Patriot League ... took the majority of the team's draws and finished with 79 draw controls to rank second in the league and 17th nationally ... the 79 DCs were five shy of her own school record, set the previous season ... defensively, had 26 caused turnovers and 22 ground balls ... biggest offensive output of the season came in a league win over Army West Point, when she had six goals and two assists for eight points ... followed that up with three goals against Lafayette and four each against Holy Cross and American, all wins for Bucknell ... scored the winning goal with a pretty scoop shot with 1:41 left in Bucknell's 10-9 win over Holy Cross ... in addition to the eight points, had a season-high nine draw controls along with two ground balls and two caused turnovers against Army ... had five or more DCs in a game 10 times, including seven of the last nine games.
In 2015: One of the top newcomers in the Patriot League in 2015 ... earned Second Team All-Patriot League honors ... was one of only three freshmen to be named to the all-league team ... started all 17 games and ranked second in the Patriot League and 10th nationally in draw controls per game (4.94) ... her 84 draw controls crushed the school single-season record ... the previous mark was 58, set by Arriana Sajjad in 2012 ... Richter already ranks eighth on Bucknell's career draw controls list ... recorded 10 DCs against Saint Francis, missing Bonnie Buechel's school single-game record by one ... finished second on the team with 26 goals ... finished the season with back-to-back four-goal games against Columbia and Boston University ... also had hat tricks against Wagner, Davidson and Johns Hopkins ... added four assists for a 30-point season ... ranked third on the team with 25 ground balls ... earned Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors on Feb. 16.
Personal/H.S.: Born May 1, 1996 in New York City … daughter of Greg and Nina Richter … has three siblings: Derek, Fritz and Sabina … lettered four times each in lacrosse and field hockey at Bronxville High School … team captain in both sports … three-time all-league and two-time all-section selection in lacrosse … one of the program’s all-time leading scorers … in field hockey was a two-time all-state and three-time all-league and all-section pick … team’s Rookie of the Year in 2011 and MVP in 2013 ... majoring in accounting and financial management ... member of 2016 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and 2016 Patriot League All-Academic Team.
