Update from Head Field Hockey Coach Kelsey Kolojejchick -- September 2024

Hi Bison Family,
We are ready to rise to the occasion for the start of our Patriot League competition! As we enter Patriot League play, this team is motivated and ready to find its rhythm. To date, our season has had its share of ups and downs, showing moments of brilliance while also reminding us that consistency is key. Every game presents an opportunity to grow, and we’ve learned that when we play with unity, intensity, and a strong work ethic, we are at our best. Now, as we prepare for the challenges ahead, we are focused on translating those lessons into results on the field.
When we connect and play for each other, we’ve shown that we can compete with anyone. Our team thrives when we communicate well, make smart decisions, and push each other to work hard from the first whistle to the last. However, we know that we need to bring this mentality and execution to every game—not just in flashes, but for a full 60 minutes.
Entering Patriot League competition, we’re excited to take the field with renewed determination. This is where our season truly takes shape, and we are determined to rise to the occasion. We’ve seen what we’re capable of, and we believe in our potential to make an impact in the league. Every practice, every game, every moment is a chance to come together and show what Bucknell Field Hockey is all about.
As always we want to thank you for your continued support as we take on the challenge of conference play. We’re ready to give it everything we’ve got—together, and we hope to see you at one or more of our games in the very near future.

On a separate but exciting note, we are thrilled to share that we will be hosting a two-week online flash store very soon. The store will feature a great selection of adidas Bucknell Field Hockey-issued gear and will serve as a fundraiser for our program. Stay tuned for more updates on this great opportunity!
