Volleyball Announces 2026 Schedule

LEWISBURG, Pa.- Bucknell Volleyball begins the John Post era with an intriguing non-conference slate before embarking on its traditional 16-match Patriot League schedule. The Bison will face a Power Four foe in Boston College and, in a neat quirk, all eight home games will be played in October. The Orange & Blue finished 12-14 overall and 9-7 in Patriot League play. The season concluded in a five-set loss to Navy in the Patriot League First Round.Â
The season opens at the Marshall Tournament (August 28-29) with a doubleheader versus Niagara and the host program. The tournament concludes the next day against Ohio.Â
The Bison ship up to Boston the next weekend (Sept. 4-5) for the Boston College Invitational. The Orange & Blue face New Hampshire before challenging the host Eagles in a 7 p.m. showdown. The trip finishes with a match versus Stonehill.Â
The non-conference portion ends at the Siena Invitational (Sept. 11-12). Bucknell faces Le Moyne on the 25th anniversary of 9/11 before playing Delaware State and Siena in a doubleheader.Â
Patriot League play begins on Sept. 18-19 with the traditional Lafayette and Lehigh road trip. Bucknell stays on the road the next weekend in a trip to the Old Line State to visit Loyola Md. (Sept. 25) and Navy (Sept. 26).Â
The home schedule starts with two of the Patriot League's powerhouses in Army (Oct. 2) and Colgate (Oct. 3). The Davis Gym stretch continues when American (Oct. 10) and Holy Cross (Oct. 11) drop by. The lone road match of October occurs on Oct. 17 when Bucknell buses to Holy Cross.Â
Lehigh (Oct. 24) and Lafayette (Oct. 25) visit Lewisburg and the home schedule ends on Oct. 30 and Oct. 31 when Loyola (Md.) and Navy cross the Mason-Dixon Line.Â
The regular season concludes with three road games at Army (Nov. 6), Colgate (Nov. 7), and American (Nov. 14).Â
The Patriot League Tournament starts with the First Round on Nov. 17. The Semifinals are on Nov. 20 and the Championship Game is Nov. 22. The Bison have made the tournament 22 times and clinched a bid in four consecutive seasons, but have not won a match since 2006.Â
