LEWISBURG, Pa. – Head coach Dave Brandt and the Bucknell men's soccer program announced the addition of nine incoming players for the 2026 season. The incoming group includes two transfers and seven freshmen.
Bucknell brings in a large group after graduating seven key players in the spring. The class brings plenty of talent as the Bison look to make another push for a Patriot League title.
Among the 2026 Class are junior transfers Jack Bejarano and Colin Findlay. The freshman class includes Grant Brokaw, Niccolo Machotka-Farley, Marcelo Ojeda, Viktor Permyashkin, Hamish Riddell, Chayse Snyder and Max Walsh.
"You might expect me to say that I am pleased with the 2026 class, but it's true, I am very pleased with them," said Brandt. "They are not only the right players, but also the right people. They will absolutely make us better on the field. It is an excellent group of players, but they will also serve to deepen the critically important team and program culture that has been established here — a culture that is critical to on-field success and for the players during their four years here to experience a unique culture committed to character formation, leadership growth, and the development of elite mentality. We are very much looking forward to their arrival to campus on August 3rd and getting to work in preparing for the season."
Jack Bejarano and Colin Findlay will provide the Bison with collegiate experience. Bejarano spent his freshman year at Farleigh Dickinson before transferring to Robert Morris for his sophomore year. For Robert Morris, he started 11 matches and scored three goals and four assists. Findlay comes from York College where he had 41 matches under his belt. He tallied two goals and five assists through his first two seasons.
The group also includes two local players. Viktor Permyashkin is a Lewisburg, Pa. native, and won a State Championship with Lewisburg High School in 2025. Findlay hails from Selinsgrove, Pa., just 14.1 miles south of Lewisburg. Findlay's father, Jim Findlay, has served as the head coach at Susquehanna University for the past 28 years, and his mother, Chrissy, formerly coached the Bucknell women's soccer team.Â
