DRAWS

About this Weekend
• Four Bison will be in action this weekend at the ITA Northeast Regional at UPenn. The tournament gets underway with singles qualifying rounds on Thursday and continues through next Tuesday.
• The ITA Regionals serve as a qualifier to the NCAA Individual Championships. The two singles finalists and the doubles champions from each of the 13 regions will earn NCAA bids. The NCAA Individual Championships will be held at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Ga., Nov. 17-22.
• Senior Liam Kilmer has earned a bye into the main singles draw, and senior Will Robinson, sophomore Tyler Bush, and freshman Enoch Lin will start out in the qualifying round on Thursday. Robinson drew No. 7 seed Jordan Reznik of Princeton; Bush will play Pere Prat Turro of Delaware; and Lin will take on Taichi Wakamatsu of St. John's. Doubles draws have not yet been announced.
• The Bison have been idle since Sept. 27, when they wrapped up the three-day Carnegie Mellon Invitational. Bucknell went 17-4 in singles and 7-5 in doubles against players from CMU, Duquesne, and Edinboro.
• In their first event of the season, the Bison turned in a solid showing at Binghamton's Carousel Classic. Eight players saw action against Binghamton and Buffalo, and the Bison combined for an 11-8 record in singles and 11-4 in doubles.
• Freshmen Lin and Brady Friesen lead the team with five singles wins in six matches, while Bush is unbeaten at 3-0. Freshman Vlad Dombrovskyi is 4-2, while Robinson and freshman Justin Yuan are both 3-2.
• Bucknell has used 17 different doubles pairings thus far. Nelson Alapi is a perfect 6-0 in doubles with three different partners. Freshman Jovan Morales is 6-1, and Friesen is 6-2.
• Robinson and Kilmer are the team's lone seniors and most experienced players following the graduation of one of the finest senior classes in team history. Amar Tahirovic, Adam Stavrakas, Oscar Bain Moreno de Vega, and Brendan McDonald comprised the winningest class in program annals and led the Bison to the 2025 Patriot League title.

A Look Ahead
• Tournament action continues Oct. 23-25 at the Patriot League qualifier for the ITA Conference Masters. Army is set to host the event for the second straight year.
