About the Bison
- Bucknell heads to the Nemacolin Resort for its fourth of five tournaments on the fall schedule. The Bison will go up against a deep field on a long, 7500-yard course.
- Jack Hartman, Taylor Kuehn, Patrick Pritsios, James Robbins, and Hayden Quinn will represent the Bison this week. Freshman Jaxon Brown and Hunter Duncan will be playing in the Shepherd's Rock individual tournament.  Â
- Play starts with a shotgun start on Monday morning, with the players primarily going out in foursomes with two players from a team paired with two players from another. Bucknell's top four will be paired with Towson on the 36-hole opening day, while Quinn will join fifth men from Towson, Robert Morris and Mount St. Mary's. Â
- Bucknell started the season on a strong note with a T-4th finish at Colgate's Alex Lagowitz Memorial. The Bison followed it up with an eighth-place finish at the Blue Hen Invitational at White Clay Creek CC and a 14th-place finish at The Goat, hosted by Navy.
- Bucknell had one good round at Navy last week – a second-round 292 – but struggled in the other two.
- Hartman, the reigning Patriot League Rookie of the Year, has been the low Bison in all three events so far. He paced the Bison with a third-place effort at Colgate, shooting 71-71-72 for a 2-under total of 214. Hartman also finished 11th at Delaware (78-71-74) and T-30th at Navy (77-71-75).
- Kuehn, in his first season at Bucknell after transferring from Samford, also posted a top-20 finish (T-16th) with rounds of 71-74-74 at Colgate. Bucknell compiled a 2-under 286 team score in the opening round. In addition to the 71s from Hartman and Kuehn, Robbins and Pritsios both carded even-par 72s.
- Five of Hartman's nine rounds this season have been even par or better, and he leads the team with a 73.3 scoring average.
- Bucknell finished T-4th at last year's Patriot League Championship, and the Bison returned both of their all-league honorees in sophomores Hartman and Pritsios.
- Bucknell also played in the inaugural Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational last fall. Finishing 10th in a field of 14 with rounds of 310-297-308. Host West Virginia outpaced George Mason by 12 shots to win the tournament.
- Pritsios (T-20th, 72-76-76), Quinn (T-33rd, 79-73-75), and Hartman (T-33rd, 78-71-78) were also in the field a year ago.
- The Bison close out the fall season with their annual home tournament Oct. 12-14 at the Bucknell Golf Club.
