
Pritsios Leads Bucknell at Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational; Bison Sit at 15th

FARMINGTON, Pa. — The Bucknell men's golf team sits in 15th place at the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational hosted by West Virginia after two rounds. After starting off slow, Patrick Pritsios shot a career-low 70 to spearhead an improved round two for the Bison.
Bucknell began the 54-hole tournament with a 304 tally, led by Jack Hartman's 75. The second round ended with the Bison shaving off 12 strokes from their morning tally for a 292 in the second round. Hartman recorded an even-par 71, James Robbins (73) made five birdies in the second round and Pritsios made four.
Pritsios is the low Bison through 36 holes, as his 2-over 146 puts him in 42nd place. Hartman, who went 3-over with a 147 tally, is the next Bison placed at 48th.
West Virginia is at the top of the leaderboard after 36 holes as they are shooting 21-under par. James Madison follows at 17-under and Seton Hall currently sits in third at 16-under par.
West Virginia's Kaleb Wilson shot a 4-under 68 in both rounds. At 8-under for the tournament, he has a two-shot lead over teammate Ryan Leach. Leach opened with an 8-under 64, but struggled in round two shooting a 2-over 74. Vaughn McMeans of Georgetown and Eli Shah of Seton Hall are tied with Leach for second as they all ended the day 6-under. 26 other golfers are in the red numbers after two rounds.
The third and final round gets underway on Tuesday morning at the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.
