Lewisburg, Pa. - For the first time since 2022, Bucknell has landed two athletes on all-league teams. Sophomore Megan Krestinski and junior Jess Leon both earned their first Second Team All-Patriot League honors on Monday. Â
Krestinski led the Bison with 41 points on 31 goals and 10 assists this season. It was her third straight year notching over 30 points as she started in all 16 games and passed the 100 career points mark this season. Krestinski also recorded 14 ground balls, eight caused turnovers, 36 draw controls and three five-goal conference games against Lehigh, Lafayette and Colgate for the Bison.Â
Leon led the defensive efforts for Bucknell this season after playing two years of field hockey and joining the lacrosse team in 2024, but not seeing game action. This season she started in all 16 games and applied a lot of pressure to Bucknell's opponents. She ended the season being ranked 13th in the NCAA for caused turnovers per game with 2.27 and 20th for ground balls per game with 2.87. Leon led the Bison in total ground balls with 45 and in total caused turnovers with 36.Â
