Men's Track & Field Records Solid Day Two at the Bison Outdoor Classic

LEWISBURG, Pa.- Bucknell men's track & field completed the second day of the Bison Outdoor Classic, unlocking several results against tough competition, including five top-ten finishes and one new top-ten all-time mark.

"Our men were very solid today highlighted by Aiden Tacker's tremendous day in the hammer and our 100-meter guys all running fast. I was really pleased with our 5k and 10k runners on Saturday."
Will Feddeler sits third in the decathlon after five events. His strong showing came from finishing second in three events (100-meter dash, the 400-meter dash, and the shot put).
Aiden Tacker continued his constant progression in the hammer throw with a fourth-place finish. His mark of 196-2 ranked fifth in Bucknell history. His best toss came in the final round.
Chris Sims finished fourth in the triple jump, leaping 46-7.25.
The Bucknell "A" Team of Cooper Hyken, Garrett Backus, Luke Petryna, and Brandon Foust combined for a fifth-place finish in the 4x100-meter relay. Their time of 41.62 narrowly missed entry into Bucknell's to ten list.
Foust placed sixth in the 100-meter dash. He ran a wind-aided 10.62. Otherwise, his time would have ranked fourth in Bucknell history. Â
Ethan Knight grabbed eighth in the 400-meter hurdles, running 54.15. He also finished 19th in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.14.
Preston Lubeski placed 16th in the 400-meter dash, racing 49.14.
Petryna earned 19th in the 200-meter dash. The freshman ran 21.84.
The Bison Outdoor Classic concludes tomorrow with the multi-events.
