Feddeler Wins Decathlon on Final Day of Bison Outdoor Classic

LEWISBURG, Pa.- Will Feddeler closed the three-day Bison Outdoor Classic on Monday with a dominant victory in the decathlon. The final five events were contested on Monday and Feddeler won two of them. Two Bison, Feddeler and Aidan Karson, competed on Monday.

Results

The Bison sophomore's 6319 points improved upon his fourth place standing in the Bucknell record book and won the event by 234 points, after entering the day trailing teammate Karson. Feddeler placed top two in nine of the ten events. Two wins in the discus throw and pole value keyed his Monday surge. He threw 38.82m (127-4) - a personal record - in the discus and cleared 13-0.75 in the pole vault.

Karson placed second, scoring 6085 points - good enough for seventh place in Bucknell history and only one point away from tying for sixth. The freshman won two events on Monday - the javelin throw and the 1500-meter run. He threw 47-11m (154-6) and ran 5:02.27.

Bucknell heads to the ECAC-IC4A Championships this weekend.
