"It was a good day for the team," said sprints coach Richard Alexander. "Hopefully, we carry that momentum tomorrow in Virginia and this weekend at the ECAC-IC4A Championships."
Petryna has been one of the breakout sprinters of the 2025-26 season and the sophomore continued that streak against top-notch competition. The sophomore speedster recorded 10.79 in the 100-meter dash to finish second in his heat and 18th overall.Â
Knight competed in the 400-meter hurdles and placed 37th. The sophomore ran 56.25.Â
