Three Wins Headline Bison Efforts at the Bucknell Tuneup

LEWISBURG, Pa.- The Bucknell Bison men's track & field team achieved three wins at the annual Bucknell Tuneup on Friday night. The Orange & Blue were preparing for the incoming Patriot League Indoor Championships.Â

Aiden Tacker had a Bucknell Tuneup to remember in the weight throw. His personal record of 62-00.25 unlocked second in the event. He ranks sixth in Bucknell history.Â
Garrett Backus finished second in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.93. The new mark keeps him at tenth place.'
Wade Shomper placed second in the shot put throwing 57-4.75. Braden Stryker earned fourth going 54-2 but he achieved a personal best of 54-2 moving into a tie for eighth in Bucknell records.Â
Bucknell picked up the first five placements in the mile run. Hayden Singer had a personal record time of 4:14.09.Â
Gabriel Pecaitis continued his hot stretch of dominance. He cleared 15-7 in the pole vault for first place.
Mason Barlow channeled the Bison dominance in the 3000-meter run. The first five slots were all Bison and Barlow earned first place with a time of 8:40.12.Â
Connon Goldfarb unlocked third place in the men's 400-dash with a time of 51.33.
Tristan Am cleared 6-1.50 to finish second in the high jump.Â
Momo Peters provided a good showing. His leap of 21-3.05 earned second in the long jump.Â
Jared Hess finished fourth in the triple jump. He gained a mark of 45.06.25.
JP Byrnes seized fifth place in the 800-meter run, posting a time of 1:58.78.
Robert Kossick placed sixth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.62.
Luke Petryna grabbed seven place in the 200-meter dash and raced 22.80.Â

The Bison will compete at the Naval Academy next weekend from March 1-2.Â
