Bison Men Complete First Day of Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- Bucknell men's track & field opened the first day of the historic Penn Relays with athletes competing in two events. The Bison held their own against loaded fields.Â
Results
Two Bison threw the hammer in the College edition of the event. Aiden Tacker placed fourth and narrowly missed setting a personal record as he threw 60.04m (197-0). His best toss arrived in his second attempt. Three of his successful four throws cleared 190+ feet. Owen Allen slotted 15th by hitting 55.94m (183-6) in his second chance.Â
Ethan Pratt-Perez finished 30th overall in the 3000-meter steeplechase championship. The Bison sophomore logged a time of 9:09.44.
Bucknell resumes competition tomorrow with a host of relay teams and field events.Â
