
Men’s Golf Finishes 11th at Bucknell Invitational

RESULTS
LEWISBURG, Pa. – Led by a 1-under-par 69 from Hayden Quinn, the Bison men's golf team wrapped up its fall season with a solid final round at the Bucknell Invitational on Tuesday. Bucknell compiled a 288 team tally, its best of the week, and finished the 54-hole tournament in 11th place with an 879 total.
Quinn was the star of the day for the Bison. After starting on the 10th hole, his lone bogey came at the tricky par-4 17th hole, and he immediately canceled it out with a birdie at 18 and then another a few minutes later at the par-5 third.
Quinn shot 76-73-69 for the week and finished in a tie for 27th place. Also for Bucknell on Tuesday, James Robbins shot 72, Jack Harman finished with a 73, and Patrick Pritsios carded a 74. Taylor Kuehn's 78 was discarded.
Playing for the B squad, freshman Henry Bolster tied Quinn for low Bison honors after closing with a second straight 71. Bolster made two birdies and 13 pars on the day, wrapping up a 76-71-71 week. Classmate Hunter Duncan, who shot 71 on Sunday, bounced back from a tough second round to post a 73 in round three.
Youngstown State won the team title with an 857 total over 54 holes. Runner-up Robert Morris finished five shots back.
Colgate's Brayden Dock fired a 5-under 65 on Tuesday to come from behind and beat 18- and 36-hole leader Leo Chu of Holy Cross by one shot. Dock, who was 1-under for the tournament, made five birdies along with an eagle at the par-5 ninth hole.
The Bison will next be in action Feb. 15-17 at the Loyola Invitational in Goodyear, Ariz.
