RESULTS
LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell men's golf team fell four spots into a tie for 14th place after the second of three rounds of the Bucknell Invitational on Monday. Patrick Pritsios and Hayden Quinn led the squad with 3-over-par 73s on a cool, rainy day at the Bucknell Golf Club.
Bucknell compiled a team tally of 298 after opening with a 293 on Sunday. The Bison and Mount St. Mary's are tied with 591 totals through 36 holes. Youngstown State shot a 3-under 277 in round two, and the Penguins now have a one-shot lead over Robert Morris heading into Tuesday's final round.
Bucknell's four counters combined for 11 birdies in round two, but ultimately too many bogeys proved costly. In addition to the 73s from Pritsios and Quinn, James Robbins shot 75 and Jack Hartman posted a 77. Pritsios is 5-over for the tournament and sits in 26th place.
The low Bison for the day was freshman Henry Bolster, who carded a 1-over 71 for the B squad. Bolster made four birdies on the day.
Leo Chu of Holy Cross is the lone player in red numbers through 36 holes. Chu followed up his opening-round 68 with a 69, and at 3-under he has opened up a four-shot lead over La Salle's Kyle Virsik and Robert Morris' Peyton Iverson.
