
Men’s Golf Underway at Bucknell Invitational

RESULTS
LEWISBURG, Pa. – The sophomore tandem of Jack Hartman and Patrick Pritsios both shot 2-over-par 72s to lead the Bucknell men's golf team to a 293 composite on Sunday in round one of the Bucknell Invitational. The Bison are tied for 10th place in a field of 18 teams.
The Bison also counted a 73 from James Robbins and a 76 from Hayden Quinn. Pritsios made three birdies, including back-to-back on holes 4 and 5, and Bucknell's other three counters tallied two birdies apiece. Hartman and Pritsios are tied for 18th on the individual leaderboard.
Bucknell also has a four-man B squad in action, and freshman Hunter Duncan birdied three of the final four holes to shoot 71. Classmates Jaxon Brown (75) and Henry Bolster (76) also had solid opening rounds. Brown shot even-par on the inward nine to bounce back from a slow start.
Robert Morris leads the tournament after posting a 1-over 281 team score. Holy Cross is three shots back, and St. Bonaventure and La Salle are tied for third at 6-over. Bucknell is even with Manhattan and Le Moyne.
Four players shot 2-under 68 on Sunday: Holy Cross' Leo Chu, Canisius' Mikey Takacs, and Robert Morris' Chase Bokker and Ben Sheridan. Three others are one shot back at 1-under, and five players are even par through the first of three rounds.
The Bucknell Invitational continues through Tuesday at the Bucknell Golf Club.
